Company

A small team, one stand, and a record we can defend.

ValoPal is digital valet ticketing, payment and record-keeping for hotels, restaurants, venues and the operators who run their stands. The guest scans a QR code from the attendant's screen and gets a live pass. Every key, hand-off and payment is timestamped to one ticket, and a manager can check any of it afterwards.

We are a small team, and we ship against a live pilot rather than a roadmap deck. Our first pilot is running at a single stand with a regional parking operator. Features get built because an attendant could not finish a drop-off, or because a manager could not answer a question at the end of a shift — not because they demo well.

We are deliberate about what we claim. The product is not proven at scale, we do not publish numbers we cannot show you the source of, and we do not name the properties we work with. If you want to know whether ValoPal fits your stand, the honest answer comes from a pilot, not a brochure.

Candour

What we are still figuring out.

These are open questions we track in the open, because a stand will run into them before we do.

  • Key tag scheme

Whether tags stay permanent per ticket or a peg pool gets recycled per shift is unresolved. Both keep the record intact; they behave differently on a busy rack.

  • Damage findings and liability

AI findings create a record that needs a legal and insurance read before a property leans on it. Until then the label stays: AI-detected — not an inspection.

  • Personal devices

Attendants using their own phones means guest details touch personal hardware, so remote sign-out and on-device data clearing matter more than they should have to.

  • Verification discipline

Escalation only works if managers actually clear the exception channel. We are still learning what makes that habit stick across shifts.
