Workflow
A shift, one step at a time.
Three paths cover the stand: drop-off, pick-up, and manual arrivals. For every step you can see what the attendant does, what the guest sees on their own phone, what the manager confirms, and what ends up recorded. A dash means that person has nothing to do at that step.
Drop-off
Keys change hands once
The attendant creates the ticket at the car. The guest scans a QR code shown on the attendant's device — nothing is printed and nothing is downloaded.
Step 1
- Attendant
- Opens a new ticket and shows the guest QR code on screen.
- Guest
- Scans the code with their phone camera and opens the pass.
- Manager
- Sees the ticket appear on the stand board.
- Recorded
- Ticket opened, with attendant, device and time attached.
Step 2
- Attendant
- Hangs the keys on the tag number the app assigns.
- Guest
- Reads and accepts the valet terms on their own phone.
- Manager
- —
- Recorded
- Key tag number and the guest's acceptance of terms.
Step 3
- Attendant
- Photographs the car from as many angles as the light allows.
- Guest
- —
- Manager
- —
- Recorded
- Photos, plus AI-detected damage notes — not an inspection.
Step 4
- Attendant
- Types where the car is parked, then closes the drop-off.
- Guest
- Sees the car marked parked.
- Manager
- Confirms the drop-off when the curb is clear.
- Recorded
- Parking location, parked state, and the manager's confirmation.
Pick-up
The car leaves once, to the right person
Retrieval starts from the guest's pass, not from memory. Payment state travels with the ticket, so nobody has to remember who has settled.
Step 1
- Attendant
- Scans the guest's pass and reads back the car and tag.
- Guest
- Shows the pass and sees the car marked on its way.
- Manager
- Sees the request on the board.
- Recorded
- Retrieval requested, with the attendant who took it.
Step 2
- Attendant
- Brings the car to the curb and marks it ready.
- Guest
- Sees the car is ready.
- Manager
- —
- Recorded
- Ready state and the time it was reached.
Step 3
- Attendant
- Takes payment or records a booth payment, then closes the ticket.
- Guest
- Sees the amount and the receipt on their own phone.
- Manager
- Verifies recorded booth payments before the shift closes.
- Recorded
- Payment method, amount, and the closed ticket.
Manual arrivals
No guest phone at the curb
Sometimes there is no guest device: a house car, a regular, a phone with no battery. The manual path stays open, and it stays marked as manual.
Step 1
- Attendant
- Chooses a reason for going manual before anything else.
- Guest
- —
- Manager
- —
- Recorded
- The reason the ticket bypassed the guest pass.
Step 2
- Attendant
- Enters the car and contact details by hand, then photographs it.
- Guest
- —
- Manager
- —
- Recorded
- Car details, photos, and AI-detected damage notes — not an inspection.
Step 3
- Attendant
- Notes that terms were given verbally and opens the ticket.
- Guest
- —
- Manager
- Approves the manual ticket with their own PIN.
- Recorded
- How terms were given, and which manager approved it.
Rules the app holds
Constraints, not suggestions.
One attendant signed in per device per shift, with the handover logged when a second sign-in takes over. Photos stay inside the app and never land in a personal camera roll. A parking location cannot be left empty. Every manual ticket carries a reason. Verification never blocks the curb, but unverified tickets get louder rather than quieter.
